Well not really but here goes. I've been in the radio biz since 1986, starting out in Big Rapids on Q102-FM (I know, Ferris St. new in radio it was a lot of fun... I think). I've been in Muskegon for about 20 years now and love it here. Getting the opportunity to work at such a great station as WMUS in my adopted "home-town" is pretty cool.

I've been married for almost 20 years to Karen, who I met here in Muskegon while we were both working at the Hilton (anybody remember that ?). We've got two great kids Mark(13) and Ashley(9). Mark's in the band at school and Ashley has just started playing soccer after several years in gymnastics.

I LOVE sports!!! Redwings, Pistons, Tigers and yes even the Lions. I also follow college sports especially Grand Valley Laker Football, where you can find me at all the home games emceeing the on-field contests. It's a blast being down on the field that close to all the action. I also enjoy playing all sorts of sports, softball/volleyball/golf/basketball

I 'm a big horror movie fan, been watching them since I was a kid(which probably explains a lot about me), but I do like all different types which is why I like working at the Family Video in North Muskegon. Stop by some time and I'll tell you all about my favorites!!

We live in a weird world y'all, here's proof...

A thirsty thief in Ohio spent several years creating his own happy hour by stealing beer from a neighbor's backyard fridge, but decided it was time to buy a few rounds himself – so he left her an envelope with over a hundred bucks and an apology note.

Dee Sarnad says that her backyard was a neighborhood gathering place because she and her hubby kept the bar stocked with brewskis that residents took turns replenishing. But at some point, beers started disappearing, and no one could point to the reason – leading Sarnad to blame local teens for making off with the cans.

The thefts went on until last week, when she found an envelope containing seven 20-dollar bills and a note claiming that he'd had a religious conversion and went on to say, "Dear homeowner. Enclosed is a sum of cash that my friends and I owe you and your family to repay you for all of the times we have stolen from your poolside bar over the past few years."

Movie Reviews

    Parker (R)

5 Men rob a state fair, and then decide they don't need the fifth member of the group, Parker (Statham). They shoot him and leave him for dead, big mistake because he's not dead and is a little angry about the whole thing. Also starring Jennifer Lopez as a realtor he becomes involved in Parkers' attempt to get his money and a little payback.

    Grade B

    Stand Up Guys (R)

Stars Al Pacino, Christopher Walken and Alan Arkin and that alone should make you want to see it. Story of three friends, one of which is just getting out of jail (Pacino) after 28 years and is the subject of a hit. His best friend (Walken) is the one contracted to kill him. I love these guys so of course I loved this movie, it's funny and full of action with a really good ending.

    Grade B+

    Side Effects (R)

Stars Jude Law as a psychiatrist who meets an apparent suicide victim (Rooney Mara) in the ER and ends up treating her. When he gives her an experimental drug at the advice of another doctor (Catherine Zeta-Jones) the women ends up killing her husband (Channing Tatum) without any memory of the event. Really good story with a MAJOR twist at the end, couldn't believe what I was seeing type thing.

    Grade A-
